Tanushree Dutta –
A Small Town Jamshedpur Beauty on her way to Bollywood Stardom!
Tanushree was born in
Jamshedpur, Bihar (now Jharkhand) in 1985. The little town girl always saw big
dreams – of becoming a model and Miss India! She would dress up and pretend to
be one when young.
One day, luck smiled at Tanushree and awarded
her much more than her two wishes! Tanushree, then a B.
Com second year student at Pune University, participated in the Ponds Femina Miss India Universe 2004
and
won the title! While modeling
offers tried to jam her way, she smartly used other offers to make her way
into Bollywood. Tanu's wise decision to perform in the video song Sayyan
Dil Mein Aana Re Remix forced some Bollywood filmmakers to find out more about
her. Shortly after, a Bollywood offer to act in the movie
Chocolate came
followed by the lead role in Aashiq Banaya Aapne with Anwer Hashmi!
Tanushree
Dutta is progressing fast in
her Bollywood acting career with movies such as Chocolate, Bhagambhaag,
