The Multitalented Sohail Khan
of Bollywood– Director, Producer, Writer and Actor!
TActor Sohail Khan
belongs to a filmi family – his father is veteran scriptwriter, Salim Khan, the
one from the duo writer Salim-Javed. Sohail’s step mother is legendary Helen and
his brothers are Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan.
Sohail’s carreer began as the director of
movie Auzaar in 1997, with his brother Salman Khan in the lead role. Sohail
continued to direct movies such as Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya (1998) and Hello
Brother (2000) until he made his debut as an actor in Maine Dil Tujhko Diya
(2002), the movie in which he played the lead role against Sameera Reddy and
directed himself! His first hit movie as an actor, though, was Maine Pyar Kyun
Kiya 2004.
Sohail is a multi talented artist. In addition
to showcasing his acting and directing abilities, Sohail has demonstrted his
writing skill (skill probably inherited from father Salim Khan!) as well in
movies such as Fight Club (2006) Auzaar (1997), Pyar Kiya To darna Kya
(1998)Hello Brother (1999), Pyar Kiya To darna Kya (1998), and Fight Club
(2006). Sohail has also produced some of the above movies.
Sohail Khan’s upcoming movies as actor are
the multistarrers, Salaam-e-Ishq and Amar Akbar Anthony(remake).
